Airline booking codes are like unencrypted passwords (as highlighted in a 2016 CCC talk, linked below) and while these codes are usually just sent around in emails, I just noticed that Lufthansa allows one to select the following option when booking a ticket: "Please do not include my booking code within the booking confirmation e-mail which will be transmitted unencrypted". Quite nice.
